Job Description:

Manage cloud-based infrastructure and security documentation for a small but growing SaaS company.

Job Duties:

• Maintain Linux servers in an Amazon Virtual Private Cloud
• Maintain SaltStack orchestration configurations
• Follow and improve Information Systems Management Program
• Manage documentation for security certification and recertification processes
• Manage configuration for SSO connections
• Work with developers to improve deployment and continuous integration processes

Recommended Experience:

• 1 – 7 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
• AWS cloud infrastructure
• Linux server administration
• Shell scripting, Python
• Git

Bonus Skills:

• SaltStack
• Using macOS

Customer Experience – Digital and Communications

Location: Chicago 

  • Develop an extensive working knowledge of the Sharpr products
  • Provide end-user application support via phone, email and chat
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by customers and provide solutions
  • Facilitate problem-solving between end user and development staff
  • Participate with development staff in testing new releases of the product
  • Develop working relationship with Sales & Marketing staff to utilize product knowledge and customer relationships in support of sales efforts
  • Provide software application training through web-based video services
  • Assist in coordinating new customer implementations, providing effective training to maximize use of the software
  • Help develop training materials for Sharpr implementation

  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone and email
  • Ability to cultivate positive working relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information in non-technical terms
  • Ability to effectively organize and maintain customer data
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience diagnosing problems with software products (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of using web-based applications
  • 2 to 4 years experience in Customer Service and Support
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and result oriented.
  • Experience in a tech focused PR and Advertising agency a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
